Justin Schecker from WFLA News Channel 8 covered this story out of Tampa, Florida, regarding a young man facing an aggravated manslaughter charge after punching a customer who called him a racial slur. I had the opportunity to provide legal commentary on this very unfortunate situation.

Kavitha Surana from the Tampa Bay Times wrote this article, published on the front page of the Sunday paper regarding the bail reform efforts by the American Civil Liberties Union of Florida ("ACLU-FL"). I had the opportunity to partner with the ACLU-FL to get several indigent clients an affordable monetary bail or alternative pretrial release while I was working in a felony division at the Sixth Circuit Office of the Public Defender.
